What is Digital Mapping?
TrackLogs Digital Mapping is a software application for your home computer. TrackLogs software includes digital versions of Ordnance survey maps and is used to:
Plan Routes and Annotate Maps
You can overlay your own information onto the maps using a set of drawing tools. These include simple shapes like rectangles and polygons plus track drawing tools.
Print Ordnance Survey Maps
Maps can be printed on your home printer with or without your route information. Unlike paper maps, digital prints can be stretched to any scale and positioned to best fit your target area. TrackLogs will also print elevation profiles and route cards for a planned route.
Analyse Route Statistics
Analysis tools generate statistics for routes planned within TrackLogs or imported from a navigation device. In addition to simple length and height gains, TrackLogs provides detailed hill analysis and full timing estimates for multiple sports.
Navigate with GPS
Compatibility with a wide range of navigation devices means transfer to and from your GPS is easy. Information stored in your GPS can be uploaded to TrackLogs for post trip analysis, information planned in TrackLogs can be downloaded to your GPS for navigation.
